We are looking for talented, hard-working individuals to join O’Donnell & Associates as Government Relations Interns and Fellows. This is an opportunity to learn more about government, politics, and how government really works in New York State and New York City.

As one of New York’s top lobbying and government affairs firms, you will have the opportunity to learn a broad range of skills in a fast-paced, exciting environment from a team of experienced government affairs professionals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting memos on policy and legislation
  • Policy and issue research
  • Tracking legislation and preparing updates for clients
  • Attending hearings, conferences, and forums
  • Being a part of a fast-paced and varied team and handling other miscellaneous tasks as necessary.

Additional Information

We offer a paid stipend for successful candidates.

Candidates can be in New York City, Albany, or Buffalo or remotely from across New York State.

Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and can work no more than 30 hours per week.

This position requires coverage of evening events, like community board meetings.
