Peter McGowan joins O’Donnell & Associates with experience in New York government relations and public policy. Prior to joining OD&A, Peter worked in government relations in New York City, where he supported advocacy efforts and gained exposure to legislative and regulatory processes through work with elected officials, agency staff, and key stakeholders.
Earlier in his career, Peter gained internship experience working on New York State Senate campaigns for Senator Jeremy Cooney and in the office of Congressman Joe Morelle, where he assisted with constituent services and legislative research.
Peter is a graduate of Fordham University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and served as a Vice President in the United Student Government. He also studied abroad at Fordham University London. Based in Albany, New York, he enjoys playing golf in his free time.
